Electrical maintenance in the workplace is very important and the starting point to having a good system is to have your premises checked and a report made – (EICR electrical condition report). This report will provide the necessary information to be able to take action and bring your current installation, if necessary, to a safe fit for purpose state.
The installation should then be checked on a regular basis, and landlords of rented properties are recommended to revisit the report at the change of tenancy. The EICR document is particularly useful if you intend selling a house or business.
