Electrical maintenance in the workplace is very important and the starting point to having a good system is to have your premises checked and a report made – (EICR electrical condition report). This report will provide the necessary information to be able to take action and bring your current installation, if necessary, to a safe fit for purpose state.

The installation should then be checked on a regular basis, and landlords of rented properties are recommended to revisit the report at the change of tenancy. The EICR document is particularly useful if you intend selling a house or business. PAT Testing

PAT testing must be carried out in order to comply with electricity at work act and involves testing all appliances periodically normally yearly but it varies depending on the type of appliance.
